Toyota Prius Tire Cost??
I’m looking into buying a 2002 Toyota that needs tires. It is my understanding that the tires have to have a rating that can carry the weight of the batteries. Can somebody give me a high and low figure of what i might pay for a set of tires.

Under $400 for all 4 mounted/balanced Toyota Prius Tires from
the dealer. Cheaper elsewhere I am sure.
The drive batteries on the prius are the size of 8 normal batteries taped together, really not that big of a deal.
Google the tire and speed/weight rating, Prius been out for a number of years, so correct tire should be no problem to get.
I was in the first group of 8 Master Techs in our region to do atend the Prius school at our TOYOTA Region training center back in 2001.
The only thing special is they are lower resistance to boast the MPGs for the ones toyota recomends, but any tire of the right size will work fine.
